These are ultra-thick outdoor socks made with ultra-chunky yarn.

They are perfect for everyday use, as well as for camping and hiking.

Their extremely high cushioning makes them comfortable to walk in and reduces fatigue.

 

They are manufactured on a valuable Bentley 44-needle vintage knitting machine.

We use a 1/2 count extra-thick wool yarn.

Since there are very few knitting factories that can use this yarn, it is a custom-ordered product.

If the yarn were any thicker, there would be a risk of damaging the knitting machine.

These are robust, heavy-duty socks whose ruggedness is their selling point.

 

 

For men, there are two sizes:

25-27cm is available in 3 colors.

27-29cm is only available in gray.

Please note that they are made slightly larger to account for natural shrinkage.

 

 

While not double-knitted, these socks are thicker than double-knitted socks.

Their long length provides warmth, eliminating the need for leg warmers!

 

 

 

For winter mountain climbing, we recommend wearing thin inner socks underneath these socks.

 

Composed of approximately 40% acrylic and 40% wool, using thick woolen yarn, these socks offer excellent warmth. However, they may shrink by about 10% after washing. Using a dryer will cause even more shrinkage.

This is due to the fiber surface rubbing and shrinking, causing felting during washing, so we recommend washing them in a net for a short cycle.
