Little by little, the signs of autumn are enveloping us.
With large temperature differences during the day, I wear double socks in the mornings and evenings, and switch between taking off and putting on my spring/summer socks during the day.
Recently, with the wide variety of double socks available, many customers have been having trouble choosing.
All of our winter double socks use the same silk fabric on the inner layer, so there isn't much difference in how they feel against the skin.
(Only our "Superb Silk Double Socks," which are suitable for all seasons, use very smooth, high-quality spun silk.)
However, the comfort of the socks differs depending on the type of fabric used to wrap that silk on the outside.
If you want warm socks that aren't constricting, we recommend the "acrylic wool" type. They are also very soft.
If you prefer something durable and resistant to losing its shape, though not necessarily constricting, I think the "cotton" type is a good choice. However, they do take longer to dry after washing!
I prefer the sturdy cotton type when I go out.
My favorite winter is coming.
To enjoy winter to the fullest, please prepare from your feet up!
