Aki Watanabe

Aki Watanabe, an artist residing in Gunma,

also draws the illustrations for the packaging of our silk and wool double-layered socks.

We were in the same art elective class when we were in our first year of high school.

I can't forget that even back then, she said she wanted to be an artist.

She is someone I respect both as a friend and as an individual.

We both started working as sole proprietors around the same time,

and also experienced marriage and childbirth around the same time, so when we meet, we never run out of things to talk about.

She is truly a kind and warm person.

The illustrations she draws are also warm, to the point of bringing tears to your eyes...

Recently, she held a solo exhibition at Atelier Hiro, where our company is also a client.

Many customers came every day.

It made me so happy...
