Sock Plushie Workshop Policy

This policy applies to all participants of our adult plushie workshop (hereinafter referred to as "the Workshop") held at our store. The purpose of this Workshop is to deepen understanding of the joy of crafting and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through designing and creating using imperfect socks. To ensure a safe and pleasant experience, please review the contents before applying.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Workshop is to allow participants to experience creating plushies from knitted socks, while enjoying the unique encounter with fabric, colors, and patterns.

Knitted socks are stretchy, so a significant feature is that differences in sewing skill do not greatly affect the finished product. On the other hand, the expression naturally changes depending on how it is pulled, stuffed, and sewn, and unexpected individuality and charm emerge from each creator, which is one of the joys unique to this material.

Furthermore, by utilizing imperfect materials, we aim to reduce waste and create an opportunity to think about the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).

2. Target Age and Participation Conditions

This Workshop is intended for individuals aged 15 and over.
Elementary school students may participate only if accompanied by a guardian.
The workshop will be held within the Ikaho store. Please follow the in-store rules and staff instructions.
Tools such as needles and scissors will be used. Only those who can work safely and at their own risk may participate.
This workshop is for those who can perform basic hand-sewing techniques such as tying knots, running stitch, and whip stitch.
Please note that basic sewing instruction will not be provided.

3. How to Participate

This Workshop is walk-in, no reservation required, based on seat availability. (Last entry is one hour before closing)
Same-day participation is possible only if there are open seats in the store.
Due to congestion, you may have to wait or may not be able to participate.

If you wish to guarantee your participation

Advance reservations are possible via Instagram DM or the official website inquiry form.
Please specify your desired participation time within the time slot up to one hour before closing.
Depending on reservation availability, we may not be able to accommodate your request.
Reception is complete upon confirmation of your reservation.

4. Fees and Payment

The participation fee is 2,500 JPY (tax included) (materials included).
Additional charges may apply for extra materials or special options.
Payment methods are limited to those accepted by our store.
No refunds will be given for early departure or unfinished work.

5. Cancellation Policy

No cancellation fees will be charged for this Workshop.
If you need to cancel an advance reservation, please notify us as soon as possible.
Please understand that repeated no-shows may result in us declining future reservations.

6. Duration and Mid-Workshop Participation/Departure

The estimated duration is approximately 1 hour (individual differences apply).
Mid-workshop participation and departure are possible, but completion is not guaranteed.
No refunds will be given for early departure.

7. Hygiene and Safety

To ensure a pleasant experience, please observe basic hygiene, such as hand sanitization.
If you are feeling unwell, please refrain from participating.
Safety will be prioritized during the workshop, but please exercise caution when handling needles and scissors.

8. Parking Information

Participants of the workshop are requested to use the temporary parking lot if possible.
For information on the location and usage of the temporary parking lot, please check the in-store notice or ask a staff member.

9. About the Work

This workshop uses imperfect (irregular or damaged socks) as materials.
Due to the use of imperfect materials, colors and patterns will be unique encounters.
While you may not always be able to choose your preferred color, you can select from the imperfect items available at that time.
Please enjoy the unique expression of each item, including individual differences in materials (color tone, knitting irregularities, size, etc.).
The finished product will not be identical to the sample.
Finished plushies are generally taken home on the same day.
No returns or refunds will be given due to the quality of the finished product or individual differences in materials.

10. Photo/Video Recording

During the workshop, photos and videos may be taken for record-keeping and promotional purposes.
Captured footage may be used on social media, websites, printed materials, etc.
Please inform us in advance if you do not wish to be featured.

11. Copyright and Commercial Use

The copyright for patterns, designs, and production procedures used in the workshop belongs to us.
Works created in this workshop are for personal use only (e.g., viewing, gifting).
Commercial use or sale of created works, designs, or production processes is prohibited.
*Parts of the above may be altered or supplemented depending on the content of each workshop.

12. Disclaimer

The workshop may be canceled or postponed due to unavoidable circumstances such as weather, disasters, or instructor illness.

13. Off-Site and External Workshops

Workshops can only be held at retailers that carry our socks.
As a condition for hosting, participants must attend our workshop in advance, and then the workshop will be conducted within each store.
Hosting conditions and content will be decided upon consultation, depending on the store's situation.
Materials (imperfect socks, etc.) will be provided for a fee.
