Article: December has ended, and I'm just jotting down some thoughts.

December has ended, and I'm just jotting down some thoughts.

December is the busiest month for sock sales,
and the period with the highest sales growth.

January is also a busy season, but wholesale settles down for a bit.

In December alone, there are no days off.

If I took one day off, the next shipment would not be completed in a single day.
This year, in particular, preparing for winter was only about 30% of what it usually is, due to taking care of a newborn and my mild postpartum depression in the summer, which had a significant impact.

But finally, I have enough peace of mind to fry tonkatsu.

From October until around the end of the year, the number of dishes on the table was small, and I relied on frozen foods and takeout. As for cooking, it was mostly simmered dishes or oven-baked meals, and just slicing tomatoes was enough. It was a simple diet, but surprisingly, my family didn't seem to mind the simplicity.
I was taken aback and thought, maybe I don't need to try so hard.

My husband and I talked about how I seem to have a little more余裕, given that I was debating whether to make pot-au-feu or roast pork with the salted pork I had prepared two days ago, and ended up making tonkatsu.

With my second son on my back, I cooked with my eldest son.
I repeatedly cautioned my eldest son when he tried to take the tonkatsu out of the oil while the batter was still white.

Thinking back, December of my first year in business, five years ago, was quiet, haha.
I even had time to attend events, and most of my sales came from those events.
Little by little, people got to know my products and my business, wholesale started, and the number of clients gradually increased. Now, in December, I have no time at all to attend events.

On top of that, as a homemaker, I also have to handle Christmas, which my children look forward to, and all the New Year's preparations. (I'm thankful I have almost no duties as a wife.)

I don't even have time to go shopping, so I rely heavily on Amazon.

At the very end of the year, a big job unexpectedly came my way.
(I'm grateful)
And even after the new year, the busy season didn't suddenly end. Plus, this year, for the first time, I tried a New Year's sale on the fourth.
After the New Year's sale was over, I thought I finally had a weight off my shoulders, but then I got the flu.

And now, while preparing for spring items and new products, I feel a bit drained.

What should I cook for dinner today?

(I made namul from scratch and turned it into bibimbap.)

If my family and I can eat delicious food together, that's enough.
