Announcement Regarding Our New Brand

With the support of many people,

we have decided to launch a new brand.

Its name is "FOOTLOOSE."

It will be a design brand, a second brand of Tamura Socks.

Based on the items handled by Tamura Socks,

we will work with designers

to create items incorporating playful designs.

As I moved forward with this, I was surprised by the depth of the diversity of the power of design.

We aim to create designs that come alive when worn, when seen, and when glimpsed from under trousers.

Currently, items based on EVERYDAY SOCKS have been completed and will be available for sale soon.

Tamura Socks mainly offers women's items, but "FOOTLOOSE" plans to produce both men's and women's items across all lines.

"FOOTLOOSE" means "carefree" or "to go where one's feet lead,"

and for our company, which excels in manufacturing low-gauge socks, the "loose" feeling is a very important element.

There would be no socks without "FOOT" either! ^^

The two important keywords connect to "go where one's feet lead."

...I really like it.

The logo illustration doesn't have much meaning,

but it's Dimetrodon, a pioneer of the dinosaur era.

It was drawn by my older daughter for my son, who loves dinosaurs,

and since it was an excellent design, we adopted it.

I hope Japanese manufacturing doesn't go extinct like the dinosaurs (laughs).
