Happy New Year!

Last year, I was blessed with many wonderful encounters and had a fulfilling year,

and I was able to welcome the new year with a heart full of gratitude.

This year, I made a magnificent kadomatsu.

I pruned the pine tree in the garden for the first time, and got bamboo from my neighbor...

It was so big that I hurt my back.

On New Year's Day, I spent time with my husband's family

and ate a lot of delicious food...

In the evening, we had our annual chashu ramen at home.

I made the chashu in advance with pork bought at Costco,

and tried making chicken broth myself for the first time.

A huge success!

It turned out delicious!

　On the night of New Year's Day, ramen has always been a tradition at my parents' house, so I just make it as a staple.

I ate a lot of delicious food, so I'll do my best again with renewed energy!
